Would it be possible for us to figure out what galaxy the interstellar astronauts travelled to?

so here is the general scenario. by some miracle we discover a worm hole / star gate that takes you to some planet in another galaxy. Would there be anyway to figure out what galaxy it is and be able to look up in the sky and find the milky way from this other planet and for us to find this galaxy from earth? would it be easier if it’s a galaxy within our local group vs other ones further away? I know like for example the Voyager spacecraft used pulsars as a way to triangulate our position but I don’t know if this would work from outside our galaxy. Are there any specific signatures like for our black hole that could be used to find the milky way?
